Edison Ford Holiday Nights - Now through December 30
Edison & Ford Winter Estates is celebrating its 43rd Holiday Nights. The winter estate homes of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford are decorated with thousands of lights and decorations. Come enjoy some Christmas spirit at the 30th Annual Fort Myers Beach Christmas Boat Parade! Last year there were over 30 boats participating, and this year promises to be even more exciting. The parade begins at Salty Sam's Marina at 6 pm, and will pass many restaurants on the back bay such as Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, Original Shrimp Dock, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellie's, Bonita Bill's, Dixie Fish Co. and Doc Ford's, where you can kick back and enjoy the fun. Santa on the Sand at Lovers Key State Park - December 9, 2018
Bring your children, grandchildren & friends for an afternoon lunch, with games & prizes on the beach with Santa! They will be collecting unwrapped toys to be distributed by the Rotary Club to local children. Each child, aged 8 & under, who donates an unwrapped toy will visit with Santa and receive a small gift. Bring your own camera or cell phone to take photos. Lunch will be provided for the children, and snacks for the adults. Each family in attendance will also be given a chance to win a fully-decorated Christmas Tree donated by the Rotary Club of Bonita Springs. Advance registration is required. The concert will run from 2-4 pm at Santini Marina Plaza. Get there early, as this is always a popular event. Head over to the Lani Kai for the island's biggest musical benefit beach bash for the children of Fort Myers Beach! Enjoy hours of live, local music from some of the hottest musicians around Southwest Florida from 1-5 pm. Performances will include Kate Skales Band, TJ Brown and The Freecoasters, Not Guilty, the Siren Says Rock Band, and more! Numerous raffle prizes and silent auctions will be up for grabs to some of the best businesses in the area. Santa is making a stop at Zoomers, Fort Myers' premier indoor/outdoor family fun center. On Saturday, Decemner 15 from 1-3 pm, kids of all ages can get their picture taken with Santa for free. A digital version of the photo will be supplied to attendees. After their photo, guests are encouraged to stop by the Sidetracked Bar & Grille for lunch before exploring all that Zoomers has to offer, including go-karts, mini golf, Midway rides and an indoor arcade. Santa's Dolphin & Wildlife Cruise - December 24, 2018
Experience Christmas, island style, with an Adventures in Paradise cruise through the Pine Island Sound and San Carlos Bay! The Town of Fort Myers Beach will not only be celebrating the New Year on December 31st, but also the town's birthday! Activities will be happening all day long leading up to the fireworks at midnight. Free cupcakes will be given out in Times Square from 12-1 pm. The Town's Birthday Party will then take place at the Fort Myers Beach Community Pool from 1-3:30 pm. There will be food, drinks, relay races, games and a photo booth. Hangout on the beach, enjoy our local parks and grab some dinner at one of the many local restaurants on the island before heading back to Times Square for the New Years Eve Fireworks at 11:59 pm!
